Mid City Zen is currently open with hybrid in-person and Zoom sittings. Masks are now optional due to the current COVID Community Level of Medium in Orleans Parish, as determined by the City of New Orleans health department, effective May 20, 2022.

At this time, everyone is still asked to show proof of vaccination the first time they enter the building.

​

Our seating in the zendo remains separated at 6 feet, and has a current limited capacity of 15 people. Upon entry, we will accept proof of vaccination via LA Wallet (easiest), an original, digital, or photocopy of your CDC vaccination card (both sides), or an official vaccine record issued by another state. Proof of vaccination will be logged so you'll only need to register your proof of vaccination once.

Anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or who has recently been in contact with anyone with COVID-19 is asked not to attend in person gatherings, but is welcome to participate via the virtual zendo.

COVID-19 is an evolving situation, and our sangha must be prepared to make changes as the situation dictates. Accordingly, the Board of Directors of Mid City Zen reserves the right to make changes to this policy. The safety of our sangha, and our community, remains our highest priority.
